The carte blanche Le Fresnoy x Fondation Louis Roederer <\/h2>\n

The Foundation and Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains have launched a carte blanche Art & Science in 2023. The winning audiovisual work will be shown at the OVNi International Video Art Festival at the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, from 15 November to 1 December 2024.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n <\/section>\n\n\n

Support for the Villa Albertine’s Films on the Green festival<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n\n

Films on the Green is a free outdoor French film festival launched in 2008 in New York by Villa Albertine. Present in cities such as Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Houston, it attracts an increasingly large and diverse audience every year. The 2024 edition of Films on the Green (May – September 2024) takes place in the context of the Paris Summer Olympics, and presents a captivating series of 12 films on the theme of sport in cinema. The Foundation’s support has enabled an additional tour to Los Angeles at Hollyhock House, West Hollywood.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Support for the Villa Albertine’s Films on the Green festival<\/h2>\n

In November 2024, the Jeu de Paume will open an art house cinema open to all, with almost 400 screenings a year. Located in an area of Paris that has no cinema but is an epicentre for the arts, this cinema will offer a selection of research and discovery films, first works by male and female directors and a wide range of films for young audiences.<\/p>\n

The opening of an arthouse cinema is a further step towards promoting and questioning the images of yesterday and today. For nearly 30 years, hundreds of films have been shown at the Jeu de Paume, from Chantal Akerman, Jonas Mekas and Jean-Luc Godard to Marie Losier, Sumiko Haneda and Pedro Costa.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n <\/section>\n\n\n

The Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n\n

During the 77th Cannes Film Festival, the 63rd Semaine de la Critique jury awarded the 2024 Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award to Ricardo Teodoro for his role in Baby by Brazilian director Marcelo Caetano.<\/p>\n

The Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award will be presented on Saturday 14 September 2024 during the 50th Deauville American Film Festival.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n
