The Louis Roederer Discovery Award associates all exhibition spaces. Through their work spotting new talent, galleries, art centres, community spaces, independent venues and institutions are often the first to support emerging artists. The ten selected projects for the 2022 edition are considered as a collective exhibition, conceived, from the selection to the hanging, by the curator Taous Dahmani. The exhibition focuses neither on theme nor genre, but on the attitudes of the selected photographers: towards image creation, taking a \u201cpre-photographic\u201d viewpoint on what drives or gives rise to a project. Here the artists begin with the intimate. Though formed at the verge of being, the works on show resonate beyond the particular to forge ties with conditions we have in common. The intimate thus becomes a space for the critical exploration of our society.<\/p>\n

The award-winning photographs will be presented until 28 August 2022 in the Fr\u00e8res Pr\u00eacheurs church in Arles, France.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/section>\n\n\n
