\u201cWe were very happy that the American Film Festival contacted us. Happy because it takes place in Deauville. And in Deauville, we are a \u2018founding\u2019 partner of a wonderful event called \u201cPlanche(s) Contact\u201d. It\u2019s the most creative, the \u2018coolest\u2019 photography festival. Therefore, it wasn\u2019t hard to imagine that despite its renown, the American Film Festival would be just as welcoming and relaxed. Not hard to imagine because with our winemaking experience in California now spanning 40 years, we have a tendency to love the American culture (last year, for example, we were patrons of the brilliant exhibition \u201cAmerican Icons: Masterworks from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Fisher Collection\u201d at the Grand Palais) and in particular, like almost everyone, we love American film.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n

We bring our wines to Deauville, rather like prize racehorses, and for this first year we will tread the festival grounds with the simplicity and sense of family that guide our patronage in Deauville. There is no reason that, for the 240th anniversary of our House, its youthfulness, albeit now well-matured, should not blend perfectly with such a sparkling array of talent.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n
