It hardly seems possible, given his enduring fame, that 44 years have already passed since the last retrospective dedicated to Mir\u00f3. It was back in 1974 at the Grand Palais, when Joan Mir\u00f3 was still alive.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/section>\n\n\n

This well-known Catalan and creator of amazingly diverse works of art is being honoured by close friend, Jean-Louis Prat, director of the Maeght Foundation for the last 35 years, who will be curating this memorable event. Everyone has been involved in the project, from leading museums to major art institutions. As one of its sponsors, the Louis Roederer Foundation has, of course, supported the event as we consider Mir\u00f3 to be something of an \u201con duty\u201d poet who keeps the memory of these years alive with his continuously reinvented colours and dreams.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n <\/section>\n\n\n\n
