Raymond Depardon granted an exclusive interview to the Louis Roederer Foundation during his exhibition \u2018A Sweet Moment\u2019 at the Grand Palais in Paris (from 14 November 2013 to 10 February 2014). This was a great honour for us, particularly as the Foundation\u2014which is sponsoring the exhibition at the Grand Palais\u2014had previously sponsored the exhibition \u2018La France de Raymond Depardon\u2019 at the Biblioth\u00e8que Nationale de France in 2010. Ever since, the Foundation has greatly admired the artist and held his work in high esteem.\t <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/section>\n\n\n

During this interview, Raymond Depardon<\/strong>\u2014with the habitual straightforwardness of a countryman\u2014talks about the use of colour and black and white in his work, his life and fifty-year career as a photographer, his childhood, travels, and perception of the world. How has he maintained such a lucid view of the world, while being able to perceive and convey life\u2019s sweeter side?
