New edition of the Louis Roederer Foundation Discovery Award at Les Rencontres d’Arles

Since 2018, the Foundation has been supporting the emergence of young talent and defending photography and all those involved in it through the Prix Découverte.
Louis Roederer Foundation Discovery Award
The prize is open to galleries, art centres, associations, independent venues and institutions that propose a project by an artist whose work deserves to be discovered.
This year, the selection committee, including Christoph Wiesner, director of the Rencontres d’Arles, and César González-Aguirre, guest curator for the 2025 edition of the Louis Roederer Foundation Discovery Prize, chose 7 projects from nearly 300 submissions from all over the world, which will be exhibited in Arles from 7 July to 5 October 2025.
For this edition, I’d like to discover photography as a critical tool, capable of reflecting on local contexts in a global world, likely to play a key role in understanding the present to shape the future.
