Heba Khalifa

Born 1977 in Cairo, Egypt, Heba Khalifa lives and works in Cairo, Egypt.

Heba Khalifa is a multimedia artist, photojournalist, and painter. She blends photography, painting, and collage to explore hidden emotions, focusing on themes of womanhood, motherhood, and societal constraints. She sees art as a healing journey and a space for free expression, fostering emotional connections through visual storytelling. As a photography mentor, she helps artists explore personal narratives. She has received grants from AFAC, Magnum Foundation, and ADPP. Her work has been exhibited in Cairo, Dubai, Switzerland, China, Singapore, and London. She currently works as a photography instructor at ADPP.
