Hlynur Pálmason’s second feature portrays a lonely man who feels abandoned and is filled with grief, doubt and anger, brilliantly played by Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson. He suspects a local man of having had an affair with his wife, who died in a tragic accident two years earlier. Gradually, his obsession with uncovering the truth builds up and inevitably begins to endanger him and those close to him. A story of grief, revenge and unconditional love.
