Gina Gammell, director of
War Pony
Producer and director of music videos and commercials, Gina Gammell founded in 2018 the production company Felix Culpa with the actress Riley Keough, grand-daughter of Elvis Presley. They wrote and directed together their first feature film “War Pony”. Based on true stories, it talked about two young Oglala Lakota men who live in Pine Ridge Reservation. Bound by their shared search for belonging, Bill and Matho grapple with identity, family, and loss, as they navigate their unique paths to manhood.
For the fifth year, the Louis Roederer Foundation is proud to support the festival organization and to recognize an original work and its promising creator. Thus, the Foundation contributes to the promotion of independent cinema while shining a light on young talents.
