Irving Penn at the Grand Palais

21/09/2017

The Louis roederer Foundation supports the exhibition Irving Penn at the Grand Palais – Paris, from September 21, 2017 to January 29, 2018

Irving Penn is the portrait genius of the 20th century. Without hesitation. Not just because of the portraits of Cocteau, Dali or Edith Piaf, but because of those he brought back from his valiant exploratory journeys in Nepal and Peru. His work is as simple as the stroke of a pencil, yet prodigious in its inventiveness. It’s a talent that arouses immense emotion.
