8. Fight against fraud and counterfeiting
The Roederer Collection Group attaches the utmost importance to protecting its brands, products, know-how and image. In this context, The Roederer Collection Group, in parallel and in collaboration with the public authorities, has set up a certain number of fraud and counterfeiting detection tools and centralises all information relating in particular to counterfeiting and parallel import offences, which it may detect or which are reported to it, concerning the Roederer Collection Group’s brands and products, or any other infringement of the rights of the Roederer Group Companies. In this context, The Roederer Collection Group may collect and process a certain amount of personal data concerning persons suspected of having committed such offences or implicated in such cases, as well as witnesses of such offences. This information will only be kept for the purposes and for the duration necessary to verify the facts detected or reported and then, if necessary, for the implementation of legal proceedings or of the means to put an end to them until the final settlement of the case or, in the event that the Roederer Collection Group decides not to initiate legal proceedings, for a period of five (5) years from the last recorded incident.
