The 3 finalists of the Louis Roederer Photography Prize for Sustainability

The Louis Roederer Photography Prize for Sustainability that supports contemporary photographers with an interest in shining a light on sustainability and environmental issues, will be awarded to the photographer whose work has most impressed the judges with its reflection of the prize’s theme this year, that of ‘terroir’.

Out of 6 shortlisted photographers, the jury has selected 3 artists whose work will be on exhibition for the public to view at The White Box, Nobu Hotel Portman Square from 9th May – 29th May 2022.

The finalists

Akosua Viktoria Adu-Sanyah (born 1990 in Bonn, Germany). She is a German- Ghanaian visual artist and documentary photographer based in Zurich, Switzerland. Her work is recognised for its exploration of new territories through image-making, Web3 technology and human connectivity.
Jasper Goodall (born 1973, Birmingham, UK). He studied illustration at the University of Brighton and went on to become a highly influential illustrator in the fashion and music industries. In 2014, he trained as a counsellor at the Psychosynthesis Trust in London. He has since returned with a radically different body of work using photography.
Sahab Zaribaf (born 1977, Tehran, Iran). He studied photography under Masoud Masoumi at Lorca Studio in Tehran in 2001. He works in both cinema and as a photographer. In 2015, he won the Best Photographer award at Tehran’s Fajr International Film Festival.

The winner will be announced by Frédéric Rouzaud, CEO of Champagne Louis Roederer and President of the Louis Roederer Foundation, at an event at Nobu Hotel Portman Square on Wednesday 11th May.
