Irving Penn au Grand Palais

La Fondation Louis Roederer soutient l’exposition Irving Penn au Grand Palais – Paris, du 21 septembre 2017 au 29 janvier 2018.

Irving Penn est le génie du portrait au XXème siècle. Sans hésitation. Pas seulement à cause de ceux de Cocteau, de Dali ou d’Edith Piaf mais parce qu’il y a ceux qu’il a rapportés de ses vaillants périples d’explorateur au Népal ou au Pérou. Son œuvre est simple comme un coup de crayon et prodigieuse d’inventivité. Ce talent là provoque une immense émotion.
